NEW VEHICLE NEWS: HOLDEN COLORADO 7 OUT, TRAILBLAZER IN

By Unsealed 4X4 1 Min Read

Slow sales figures have resulted in Holden releasing what is essentially a face-lifted version of its Colorado 7… now dubbed the Trailblazer. While visually the Trailblazer looks largely similar, and the 2.8L turbo-diesel engine remains, there are significant improvements worth discussing. The interior has received a new dash and touch screen display, for example. In fact, Holden has put great emphasis on improving the overall driving experience, and moving away from the somewhat agricultural Colorado 7. The suspension has been significantly enhanced to better suit Australian conditions, and Holden has included electronic steering in an attempt to further reduce emission output while allowing for lighter and more direct steering input. The new Holden Trailblazer is priced from $47,990 plus on-road costs. Stay tuned for a full review in an upcoming issue of Unsealed 4X4.
