STAFF CORNER: TIM JOINS THE TEAM FULL TIME

By Unsealed 4X4 3 Min Read

After a few years hanging around the edges as one of our roving journalists, Tim Stanners has decided to join the team full time as our Managing Editor. You would have seen plenty of Tim’s articles over the last couple of years with his travel and gear yarns and some pretty handy photography thrown in along the way. Tim’s got a nice touring setup too with his Prado 150, which is often seen around the tracks of outback NSW as he heads out for another family adventure, Cub Camper in tow. Please join us in welcoming Tim to the team and here’s a few thoughts from Tim on Unsealed 4X4 and the adventure ahead.

Thanks Dex and g’day all. I’m really excited to be joining this crazy bunch of cats, who bring you the best touring routes, the best new vehicles, great photography and some of the best 4X4 destinations this country has to offer.

Like many of you, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout the country, where I’ve seen brilliant destinations and met some of the best people with terrific life stories.

Some of my favourite destinations include outback Queensland Channel Country, the northwest coast of WA and I’m always partial to a lap around Tassie.

We’ve got some pretty exciting things coming up for Unsealed 4X4 this year, but I’m always interested in your feedback and keen to hear about your travels, your vehicles and what you’d love to see more of in our magazine, so feel free to drop me a line and tell me what you’ve been up to.

I’ll hopefully be joining the team out at Birdsville for the Big Red Bash this year too, so keep an eye out for us and by all means, come and say g’day.

If you’re ever out on tracks and see myself or any of the other Unsealed 4X4 crew, make sure grab a hold of us and let us know where you’re heading on your travels.

In the meantime, let the adventure begin.

Cheers,

Tim
