These days you would be hard pressed to see a camping four-wheel drive without an awning fitted, and as a bold prediction we reckon awning tents will be just as popular before too long.

What we like about the Darche Eclipse awning and annexe, is that it is both an awning tent and screened off area (away from creepy crawlies) in one. Cleverly, the sidewalls also become additional awnings too, so you really get the best of both worlds – shade during the day, and a secure area to eat and sleep at night. There are also two sizes available, a 2m wide by 2.5m pull out, and a larger 2.5m wide by 2.5m pull out for full-size wagons.
