A cleaner engine means a more efficient engine; therefore cleaner air means everything is better. 4WD enthusiasts choose to disagree on almost everything under the sun, but one thing that there shouldn’t be any discussion about is the validity of a snorkel. Cooler, cleaner air getting into your engine with less chance of it inhaling water and other crap can’t be a bad thing. The team at Ironman acknowledge this and have released a snorkel for NP300 Navara owners. While it may look like some old Christmas liquorice, it claims to provide 2-3x increased air intake, as well as stopping water getting in during downpours.
