The gear you use out bush needs to be reliable; whether it is your tent, your axe, or your cooker, you don’t want to run into the situation of having them breakdown while out bush. The same goes for your recovery gear, because for the most part you don’t want to use it but if you have to you want it to work. The team at Outback Armour have released their new 10T Rated Snatch Block, with a machined pulley wheel, and a grease nipple with an internal spiral cut brass bush for grease distribution. Outback Armour state that this means it is rated by a factor of 1.5:1, therefore safely able to split the load on your recovery and provide a safer rescue. It certainly looks the part, and best of all it’s not an expensive item for something that is clearly very well made.
