If you thought the stock 4.5L twin turbo V8 engine fitted to the 200 Series LandCruiser was a solid performer, wait till you hear and drive one with an exhaust upgrade. The factory-fitted exhaust system has proven to be rather restrictive, and besides… if you have a V8 you want to hear it! Queensland based exhaust company, Scott’s Rods, offer an exhaust kit to suit 200 Series LandCruisers, up to 2015 models. The kit is complete with all required gaskets, nuts and bolts as well. It is made up from twin 2.5inch dump pipes, which flow into a single 3inch exhaust system which Scott’s Rods claim will not only enhance the engine not, but increases power too. Sports mufflers and catalytic converters are a part of the package, as well as flex joints to prevent the exhaust cracking over corrugations. Best of all, if you are handy on the spanners you can fit this kit yourself at home.
