The 2020 National Perentie Auction is live now, but if you want to nab a slice of Australian military history, you’d better act fast, as the hammer will fall at 7pm on 11 November.
That’s right! The 2020 National Perentie Auction is live right now and Australian Frontline Machinery (AFM) claims this auction includes the very best examples of the most exclusive and unique Land Rover Perenties direct from the Australian Defence Force.
Although hosted out of Albury, NSW, the 2020 National Perentie Auction is held online, so it allows all Australians the opportunity to participate. Even if you live thousands of kilometres away, all ex-military Land Rover auction vehicles can be inspected through videos and live streaming, and vehicle history and condition reports are available. You can access all 23 Video Inspections through this link.
“We’ve brought to life the physical aspects of the event into a digital environment, giving Australians equal opportunity to inspect auction vehicles,” Tara O’Hara, Marketing & Sales Manager, Australian Frontline Machinery said.
Serviced and maintained by the Australian Defence Force for more than 20 years, AFM says many of these ‘best of’ 4X4 and 6X6 Land Rover Perentie 110 variants come with fresh paint and new canopies.
With a limited number of ‘Perenties’ left in the Australian Defence Force inventory, two particular Surveillance and Reconnaissance SRV (SF) vehicles have quickly become the prizes of the 2020 National Perentie Auction. With only 43 examples ever built, this auction could be your only chance to ever secure one of these pieces of Australian military history. These vehicles can be video inspected through this Youtube video:
For those after a more traditional Land Rover 4X4 110 Cargo, or a 6X6 General Maintenance model, here are the Youtube links for inspection purposes:
If you’re keen on nabbing one of the two Surveillance and Reconnaissance SRV (SF) vehicles, or any of the Land Rover 4X4 110 Cargo, or 6X6 General Maintenance models on offer at the 2020 National Perentie Auction, you’d better get in quick, as the hammer will fall at 7pm Wednesday, 11 November.
