Firstly, we have to start this by mentioning we actually have one of these speaker units in the Unsealed 4X4 office, and for such a compact unit the sound quality is actually really good. But it’s not just the sound quality; it is the build quality that is most impressive. The Altec Lansing Mini Lifejacket 3 is IP67 rated, meaning it is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and it even floats… not that it makes a good boat. The internal battery is said to last for 16 hours off one charge, and there is even a built-in USB port so you can charge your devices. There is an AUX jack for playing your tunes through, however you would be mad not to use the Bluetooth capabilities for wireless operation. The Altec Lansing arrived with all the required cabling, as well as mounting hardware.
