The Eldee Easter Festival is an event like no other with a variety of 4X4 challenges suited to family 4X4s rather than highly modified vehicles. There’s also a focus on teamwork, with the whole family able to get involved in some of the challenges.

The event is held on Eldee Station in the spectacular Barrier Ranges of outback NSW. Eldee is a working sheep and cattle station around 45km north of Silverton NSW, and the terrain on the property ranges from sandy creek beds and roaming paddocks to rocky tracks and spectacular vistas.

The competition is family friendly… and sometimes intense.

In addition to a range of 4X4 driving challenges, the Easter Festival inlcludes plenty of activities for the whole family including live entertainment, an Easter Egg hunt, a jumping castle, a fireworks display and much more. There’s also a sunset tagalong tour that takes you high up into the Barrier Ranges for a barbecue meal and a sunset view over the Mundi Mundi plains.

Of course, there are plenty of prizes on offer for event participants thanks to the various sponsors, and the general atmosphere at the ARB Eldee Easter Festival is one of friendship and camaraderie. Put simply, it’s a great place to meet up with friends new and old, all with a common interest. Check out the video below and you’ll get the idea…

There are a range of accommodation options including rooms with bathrooms and kitchenette facilities, as well as powered and unpowered caravan sites and campsites. Eldee Station also offers swag hire for those who like to keep it simple, and there’s a camp kitchen and shower/toilet facilities. Oh, and for those who want a great coffee, a meal or a beer, the onsite Eldee Station cafe is licensed and is a great meeting place situated in the middle of festivities.

There are a variety of Spectator Packages and Competitor Packages available which can be booked on the ARB Eldee Easter Festival event website.
