This Milwaukee Heated Jacket lets you control the temperature from your phone

We’ve all been there. It’s early. It’s cold. And you’ve got s**t to do – whether that means an early start on a job site or a nippy campsite before hitting up the 4WD tracks. Milwaukee might have just made those early starts a little more bearable with its next-gen heated jacket range.

Dubbed the Milwaukee heated jacket, the latest version now heats up in under two minutes and can be adjusted via your smartphone. Yup – this one comes with app control, letting you tweak heat levels, choose specific heat zones, and even save your favourite warmth settings. Apparently, heated jackets are now a bit clever.

But… how?

This heated jacket upgrade is powered by something Milwaukee calls HEXON Heat Technology™, which aims to provide more even warmth and up to 40x better coverage than earlier models. There’s also a compact, rechargeable power source built in, capable of running for up to 12 hours on Low or three hours on High, depending on how frosty it is out there.

Jacket styles

Two main Milwaukee heated jacket styles are available: the TOUGHSHELL™, which is wind- and water-resistant with triple-stitched seams and extra insulation for proper grit-and-grind mornings, and the AXIS™, a lighter, more flexible version suited to movement and layering. Both come in men’s and women’s fits.

But wait… there’s more

And yes, if you’re camping off-grid, you’ll appreciate the clever little bonus: that internal battery can also charge your phone via USB-C. Handy when you’re running low on both warmth and juice out bush.

Milwaukee’s been in the heated jacket game since 2010, but this new lineup is clearly made with both tradies and outdoor adventurers in mind. For those who hit the tracks in a 4WD and wake up to frost on the bonnet, or anyone slogging through a slab pour at 6 am, this gear might just take the sting out of winter mornings.

Check out Milwaukee’s website for the full specs and details. We haven’t had a chance to try out one of these next-gen jackets yet, but one can assume that it’ll definitely make those first few hours of the day more comfortable.
