The team lose it… all in the name of raising funds for charity!
It’s that time of the year again, where men all around Australia embrace an itchy upper lip to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. Movember has been running for 13 years now, and has raised enough funds to be involved in over 1,200 men’s health projects around the world. These projects include prostate cancer and testicular cancer as well as mental heath and suicide prevention – important issues that nobody is talking about.
Well we decided to do something about that this year, and got the PC Media team involved. All our crew from our sales staff, to the Editors and even the video department (they get to hide behind cameras luckily), have shaved their beards, apologised to their significant others and embraced the seediness that is a moustache. In fact, we have raised over $2,000 just in the first week – which is a massive achievement. But it isn’t enough.
