There are literally hundreds of different air mattresses on the market these days; and as Ev’s found out, they’re not all built the same. Some take a month to inflate, others squeak every time you even think about rolling over, and some are four feet thick but you still manage to touch the ground somehow. After Ev’s rather noisy camping trip recently, he got himself one of these Nemo Tensor Sleeping Pads. His new bed is thin, insulated (with a metalised film layer, no less), has baffles to eliminate bouncing when he moves around, and is just the right size for a one-man camping trip. Certainly worth a look at if you’re over the roll-up concrete mattresses that come with a lot of the swags these days.
