Initially launched in 2015, Big Red Gear quickly struck a chord with those seeking affordable yet high-performing lights for their 4WD. Basically, if you’re looking to build a tough rig on a budget, then you should check them out. I mean, I’m all for paying the big dollars when it’s worth it, but if I can get a great quality product that works just as well for less, then I’m jumping on that bandwagon.
New logo, new website and new gear
With a recently revamped website, It’s much easier to navigate the products and the website now also features a live support/chat function to help with any queries. If you’re familiar with the old site, you may also notice a new logo with a tough-looking roo. I’m guessing this is Big Red… and he’s also making a bit of a name for himself on the merch.
Expanded range of lights
In addition to the range of existing LED driving lamps and light bars, Big Red Gear now have a range of LED work lamps. These include:
- 4″ square unit
- 6″ lamp and 6” flush lamp
- 3.2″ flush lamp

- Additional mounting accessories for different fitting options
The work lamps are suitable for various uses, from 4WDs and commercial vehicles to agricultural and construction machinery.
