You see plenty of four wheel drives with alloy diff covers on the rear of the axle housing these days. And while this is great for heat dissipation and reduction in weight, they offer as much protection as a raincoat with a hole in it while off-roading. Harrop are better known for their E lockers and superchargers, but I feel they have nailed a gap in the industry here by releasing their range of heavy duty differential covers. These will not only will take a hard knock without complaining, by bolting one to your axle housing, the entire assembly is strengthened post install.
