MEAN MOTHER ADVENTURER II

In the massive air compressor comparison we ran in issue #17 of Unsealed 4X4, it is fair to say we were impressed with the performance of the Mean Mother Adventurer II air compressor. In fact, we have continued to test it on as many trips away as possible, and without fail the first thing people mention is how good it sounds. Beefy, almost. The build quality and quality of included components is right up there; just by lifting the unit out of its bag you can feel sturdiness through the weight of the compressor. Another neat touch is the inclusion of an adaptor on the air hose, which allows you to use either a screw-on fitting or a clamp-on connector depending on personal preference. For under $300, so far we have been extremely impressed with the unit and feel it would make your special someone very happy. Well, unless you buy it for your partner who hates four wheel driving, and you use it. But that’s what they get for buying you yet another pair of socks for Chrissy …
