Why not save money to begin with, by protecting the bits underneath your 4X4? The latest release from TJM is a sump guard for the VW Amarok. Made from 3mm sheet steel, this sump guard is also press-folded in strategic locations to increase strength without adding weight. For corrosion resistance, the entire guard is electro-coated black (rather than powder coated), as TJM claims electro-coating gets into all the nooks and crannies – making it much more resistant to chipping and scratches. The TJM people believe this so fervently, they tell us their sump guards have been tested to be corrosion resistant for up to 500 hours. While this latest release is to suit VW Amaroks, TJM has a wide range of underbody protection systems available to suit other vehicles too.
