If you haven’t heard about the Superute Series, you are about to. Imagine driving around a racetrack in a turbo-diesel dual-cab ute, and how entertaining that would be. Well, coming this year is exactly that.
The Superute Series will see utes such as the Toyota HiLux, Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Isuzu D-Max and Nissan Navara battling it out on the track, rather than the job-site or off-road. As such, Australian Clutch Services are proud to advise that they have just been announced as a sponsor of the Superute Series. Not only that, they are the chief supplier of clutches to these vehicles… and considering how much torque modern turbo-diesels produce, and the strains of racing, this will be one tough testing ground for their products. The Superute Series is set to debut mid-2017, and can be found at many of the V8 Supercar meetings. With the demise of the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore utes, this is the next step forward for the racing ute category.
