Suzuki Jimny owners rejoice! The Long Ranger has developed an 80-litre long-range fuel tank to suit the Suzuki Jimny, literally doubling capacity compared to the OE 40-litre fuel tank.

Designed specifically for fitment to the current-generation Jimny (2018-present), the new replacement long-range fuel tank from The Long Ranger is supplied with a comprehensive fitting kit, parts to modify the centre part of the exhaust system, an additional regulation carbon canister, pre-drilled holes in mounting brackets for easy installation, and a roll-over safety valve. The tank itself is fully baffled for strength and maximised fuel usage, and The Long Ranger recommends a four-hour fitting time.

The Long Ranger fuel tanks are designed and manufactured using CAD/CAM processes. They are made from 2mm aluminised steel (14 Gauge) and are individually designed and tailored to suit each vehicle, incorporating features such as internal baffling, anti-surge dam, in-built expansion chamber and fully sealed brackets.

With an official fuel-consumption figure of less than 7.0L/100km for both the manual and auto variants of the Suzuki Jimny, the new 80-litre tank from The Long Ranger should result in a touring range in excess of 1100km.

The Long Ranger long-range fuel tanks are manufactured in Australia by Out of Town 4WD and are distributed by ARB. They are covered by a three-year warranty.
