We’ve used soft shackles in the past, and have been impressed with the design. Being light in weight, and flexible, they are easy to store and use in the field if you have the right recovery points (that is, ones with smooth edges). These soft shackles are from NSW-based Ozoffroad, and are available in three different lengths – short, medium and long. Best of all, it doesn’t matter what size you buy: They all cost just $25.
