Ford has been hinting at a Bronco to suit all types of off-roaders, and now our spies have captured the two-door 2021 Ford Bronco testing off-road.
Images by Brian Williams/SpiedBilde: Ford drip-fed us a teaser video recently of the Bronco testing off-road; that vehicle was wearing a cut-down Ranger body. Since then, we’ve seen the boxy four-door out and about on-road.
Now, our snappers have captured the thing testing off-road and in short-wheelbase (two-door) guise. While there have been hints about a two-door Bronco, nothing, until now, has given us concrete evidence. This shorty Bronco follows the look of the four-door.
While proof of the two-door Bronco is great, the snappers were able to capture a shot of the underneath of the vehicle showing off the skid plate and live rear end.
In terms of the engine, we know it’ll likely borrow the US-Ranger’s 2.3-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder with a 10-speed automatic transmission. There’s also likely to be a hybrid variant. But, beyond that, details are still very thin. Stay tuned as our eagle-eyed snappers keep chasing the Bronco.
