The new TJM Frontal Protection Systems (FPS) are designed, engineered and tested right here in Australia, but when the R&D team at TJM were developing their new FPS, they were looking at unique ways to test the built in recovery points as part of this new design.

So the engineers got to work and conducted a field test of the Rated Recovery Points using a TJM equipped 2015 PXII Ford Ranger. This Ranger has an Outback Bar which comes equipped with 8,000kg Rated Recovery Points which are made from high strength carbon steel. Check out the video to see just how far the TJM engineers have gone to test their new design…

TJM’s unique and innovative load carrying mount system separates the extreme winching and dynamic strap recovery loads from the air bag compatible crumple zones required for compliance. The TJM mount system directs the severe recovery loads generated during winch and snatch recoveries to the strongest part of the chassis, without affecting the airbag compatibility to ensure maximum safety for the driver and their family.

If you’re in the market for a bar which incorporates recovery strength, safety and stylish good looks, why not check out the new Frontal Protection Systems from TJM?
