Alloy roof platforms are welcome additions to many four-wheel drives, as they are lighter than traditional steel roof cages whilst still being incredibly practical. The LockN’Load from Yakima is its latest release, and fits directly to the vehicle’s mounting points (keeping the rack lower where it should be). As the Yakima platform is constructed from powder-coated aluminium, it is not only light in weight but also exceptionally corrosion resistant. A perimeter mounting track runs around all sides of the platform, which includes a top slot for mounting accessories such as high-lift jacks and awnings. Speaking of accessories, the LockN’Load platform is compatible with existing accessories you might already have, so you won’t need to buy them over again.
