Towing can be a pain, but vision issues when towing are now a problem of the past. This is thanks to one brand who seems to always be leading the way in the 4X4 market: Clearview Accessories. Clearview have recently launched their new Towing Mirrors, made specifically for the new Ford Next Gen model line-up.

What a clear view

There’s nothing more annoying than that one blind spot you can’t inch your head far enough around to see. If you’re behind the wheel of the new Next Gen Ranger or Everest, you’ll be pleased to know that you can choose from multiple camera views to allow you to see it all. This includes a bird’s eye top-down view, 180-degree front and rear split view, front off-road view, and rear trailer hitch view. For Ranger Wildtrak, Platinum and Raptor models only, the 360-Degree Camera is standard, and optional as part of a pack at additional cost on XLT 4×4 and Sport pick-up models. The 360-Degree Camera is standard on Everest Platinum only and optional on Trend & Sport at an additional cost.

With everything in view, you won’t miss a thing. Whether you’re towing in the tricky off-road terrain of Australia, or simply down a highway, you’ll have a clear view.

Tested and approved by Ford

Ford has given their green tick of approval. In fact, these towing mirrors were built in conjunction with Ford Motor Company. They are both tested and approved by Ford for installation on the new Ranger and Everest models. Clearview Towing Mirrors are the only replacement towing mirrors currently available in the market for the new Next Gen Ranger and Everest.

“Our customers don’t want to compromise on their vehicle’s features when they install towing mirrors. It’s for this reason that we’ve remained at the forefront of emerging mirror technologies.

– Mike Cowan, Co-Founder of Clearview Accessories.

Always engineered specifically for vehicles

Clearview mirrors are available for most of the Australian 4X4 market. In addition to availability, they’re also always engineered specifically for each vehicle to allow most of the functionality of the original mirror to be retained. Designed to use the same holes, fitting and wiring (where applicable) as your original mirrors, they are true replacement mirrors.

Clearview Accessories maintain their long-standing relationships with the vehicle manufacturers, to allow them the ability to consistently work closely with them to develop OE Authorised Towing Mirrors. This has become increasingly important in recent years as we’ve watched technology advance. If you take the risk with unapproved mirrors, you may find it results in fault codes and loss of functionality, such as driver assist functions.
