In today’s tough economic times, Cub Campers tells us they understand the importance of offering an affordable alternative to hard-top caravans. The H14 is Cub Campers new entry-level caravan. The lower cost of the H14 does not mean Cub has skimped on luxury either. Fitted with a range of quality features, Cub has focused on providing more value in a lighter-weight caravan than ever before. While facilitating the same luxury feel as is synonymous with the entire Cub hybrid caravan range.

Cub’s is continuing their reputation for Australian-made quality. Gained from more than 55 years of manufacturing experience. The H14 shares much in common with the recently launched H16, including impressive design with a renewed focus on comfort while travelling on-road and off-road around Australia, but with an even smaller footprint.

What’s the story?

So who is this for? Those looking for the well-established quality of our luxury hybrid caravan range. In a compact and nimble body. It’s the perfect caravan for couples to travel around Australia in luxury without having to factor in an expensive tow vehicle.

The H14 shares the innovative features of the H16. Including the pop-top roof, designed to open electronically, with an extended height from 2.935m and a non-extended, low-profile height from 2.5m. The four spring cross canopy lifters, situated at crucial extrusion points, can hold up to 160kg, further enhanced with a synchronous control board that aligns the pop-top roof perfectly when opening.

Lower towing height

Overall, the pop top design allows for a lower towing height providing access to more difficult to reach travel locations. Also allowing for more practical caravan storage options.

Designing the 14ft (internal) body was a historic moment for the Cub team with countless hours invested by lead designer, Aaron Sheen, in collaboration with the engineering team, headed by Cub’s Managing Director and owner Shane Fagan, creating an easy-to-tow caravan without losing the comfortable living features afforded to the luxury hybrid caravan range.

Cub H14 Advantages

As with the H16, the H14’s lower height also comes with the added benefit of lower fuel consumption while travelling, with the lower centre of gravity and tapered body reducing the effects of drag while towing.

Cub has focused on continuing to improve the design aesthetics of our luxury hybrid caravans. The interior has been carefully curated by lead Interior Designer, Amy Fagan, to bring to life the luxurious feeling Cub has quickly become renowned for.

Cub H14 practicalities

When it’s time to sleep, the H14 offers a standard Cub king pillow top mattress for optimal comfort. Additionally, it can be optioned with an internal 110L Dometic Coolmatic fridge. This ensure you have an ample supply of food and drinks for several days. Moreover, you can enjoy your favorite music through the four speaker Fusion Bluetooth stereo system. Which includes two internal and two external speakers. Whether you are cooling down inside or relaxing outside under the spacious Fiamma awning with a drink in hand, the H14 provides a delightful experience.

Off-grid setup

For off-grid electrical needs, the H14 is equipped with a 150Ah lithium battery. It comes with a 5-year warranty, too. This battery is charged by a pair of 180W REDARC Monocrystalline solar panels. Once the sun sets, the H14 offers ample lighting to illuminate both the interior and exterior. Additionally, it features a 100L Freshwater tank and a 100L Greywater tank to cater to your off-grid water requirements. Of course, options exist to expand Offgrid capabilities by a staggering degree.

Cooking with the H14 Hybrid

The H14’s hybrid design is all about outdoor cooking, boasting the same outdoor kitchen found in the rest of the Cub hybrid caravan range. This kitchen includes a SMEV 3 burner stainless steel stove and sink, along with Cub’s textured stainless steel work surfaces. With its sleek yet sturdy design, this kitchen offers the functionality one would expect from a well-crafted and well-thought-out space.
