The brains behind BOSS battery trays is South Australia based company FNB 4WD. Now we say brains, because these Australian designed and made dual-battery trays include some seriously clever innovations. Firstly, they are laser cut for accuracy and are then full welded and hand-finished. Exposed surfaces are zinc-coated and then powder-coated for corrosion protection and (let’s be honest) clean looks. 8mm J-bolts are included over smaller 6mm J-bolts for extra strength, and each tray has been designed to be straightforward to fit. FNB 4WD includes full fitting instructions, with images and text. Heck, they even offer tech support via the phone (1300 307 165) if you get stuck trying to fit your dual-battery tray at home.
