There’s no shortage of insane things that happened in 1969. Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, Sesame Street debuted on TV and this utterly bizarre 6×6 amphibious vehicle was birthed. Introducing, the 1969 British United 6×6 ATV, which roughly translates into the most amount of fun you can have with your pants on!
For $4,000, I believe this bargain could be one of the most fun unregistered vehicles getting around. It’s skid-steer, it’s red, and the damn thing is amphibious! Yep, this bad boy can not only drive you to the water-way but when you get there, steer this beast straight into the water and it will float and drive through water!
This model was restored less than 10 years ago and has been engine converted to a 20hp Honda engine. It has all-new chains, seals, rims and tyres, new upholstery and even a custom tray. I think it’s fair to say that this 6×6 beast is ready for pretty much anything you can throw at it.
If you own property. Have a vehicle capable of towing. Or have kids who love to get up to mischief, then I can’t recommend this enough for the 2022 Christmas present of the year! Whilst it won’t set any land-speed records, it can do a 360-degree turn on its own axis. And can slowly motor its way through any terrain.
