Illawarra Caravan Camping Holiday Expo Cancelled

Unfortunately, the worsening COVID-19 situation in NSW has forced the cancellation of an Illawarra favourite.

The Illawarra Caravan Camping Holiday Expo planned for the 2nd to 4th of July at Kembla Grange Racecourse has been cancelled in light of the escalating community transmission of Covid-19 in NSW and the new government restrictions on gatherings and movement in place for Greater Sydney including the Illawarra.

Based on the advice of the NSW Health Minister and the logistics of erecting a show of this size (ie people coming from inside the ‘red-zones’ of Sydney), the show needs to be cancelled.

Organisers for the expo told RV Daily, “This is unfortunate, but the health and safety of our staff, exhibitors and patrons is paramount. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

If you have pre-purchased your tickets to this event, Oztix will shortly contact you in regards to a refund for your tickets. If you want to contact any of the exhibitors who had registered to attend the expo, you can find a full list by clicking here

The next Caravan Camping Holiday Expo is planned for 22-24 October in Canberra. The Illawarra expo will return in 2022.
