Land Rover Australia has announced two new limited-edition variants of the Land Rover Discovery SE and Range Rover Sport SE which boast $20k in extra equipment.
Despite getting $20k worth of extra gear, Land Rover has announced prices are on-hold for the Discovery SE and Range Rover Sport SE limited-edition variants. Pricing for the two is $99,749+ORCs for Land Rover Discovery SE and from $108,401+ORCs for Range Rover Sport SE.
So, what does the extra $20,000 worth of stuff look like on the Range Rover Sport SE. Well, you can choose either a 183kW or 225kW 3.0D SDV6 engine and the Driver Pro Pack which includes: Blind Spot Assist; Adaptive Cruise Control; Driver Condition Monitor; High-speed Emergency Braking; Lane Keep Assist; Traffic Sign Recognition; and Adaptive Speed Limiter. Also included is: Keyless entry; Head-up display; Sliding panoramic roof; Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) radio; 22-inch ‘Style 5004’ five-spoke, gloss black, split-spoke alloy wheels; 360-degree surround camera; Black exterior pack; and Carpet mats.
The Discovery SE gets a 225kW 3.0D SDV6 engine and the Driver Assist Pack which includes: Blind Spot Assist; 360-degree surround camera; Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist; and High-speed Emergency Braking. Also included is Four-zone air-conditioning; Seven-seat versatility; Heated front seats; Head-up display; 20-inch ‘Style 5011’, five-spoke, gloss sparkle silver, split-spoke alloy wheels; Electric sunroof with tilt and slide front glass and fixed panoramic rear glass; Keyless entry; and Powered tailgate/boot lid opening.
The two limited-run models will be available to buy from January until 31 March. In making the announcement, Land Rover Australia boss, Mark Cameron, said: “We’ve taken two of our most competitively-priced, highly-specified vehicles and made them even more appealing by adding an amazing amount of extra equipment without increasing their prices,” Mr Cameron said.
“Those special additions to these Land Rover Discovery SE and Range Rover Sport SE special editions amount to $20,000 in extra value for both, make them even more appealing by further enhancing their safety and comfort levels.
“The great news is that all this extra equipment comes at no extra cost to buyers, so dramatically increases their overall value and appeal,” he added.
