Could this be the first glimpse of the new Toyota HiLux which we Australians desperately require to phase out the dated current model? Images have surfaced of a sly unveiling of what we believe to be the latest HiLux which we will hopefully see on these shores in 2016
While it’s too early to know 100%, initial thoughts are that it looks quite good. The styling definitely appears more modern than the current crop, with aesthetics borrowed heavily from the 200 Series LandCruiser (check out that front bumper).
We just hope Toyota updates the engine range too, and give us something to be really excited about. Like an 8-speed auto… Or a twin turbo diesel… Or terrain response… Or factory diff locks… or….
