Four Wheel Drive Victoria has announced additional national park closures for the Easter long weekend.
We’re sure you already know to stay at home this Easter but in case you didn’t get the memo Four Wheel Drive Victoria has reaffirmed this by highlighting further national parks closures ahead of the Easter long weekend to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The following national parks were closed as of midnight (last night):
Northern Victoria
- Barmah National Park
- Cathedral Ranges State Park
- Gunbower National Park
- Hattah-Kulkyne National Park
- Murray Sunset National Park
- Lake Eildon National Park
- Toorourrong Reservoir Park
Western Victoria
- Bay of Islands Coastal Park
- Discovery Bay Coastal Park
- Grampians National Park
- Great Otway National Park*
- Lower Glenelg National Park
- Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park*
- Port Campbell National Park
- Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve
Eastern Victoria
- Alpine National Park
- Baw Baw National Park
- Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park*
- Howqua Hills Historic Area
- Mount Buffalo National Park
- Walhalla Historic Reserve
- Wilson Promontory National Park
Four Wheel Drive Victoria warns those tempted to ignore the closures that Victoria Police can issue on the spot fines of up to $1652 for individuals and up to $9913 for businesses who don’t follow these directions.
