It’s a fairly minor facelift for the petrol-powered seven-seater, along with some new-design 18-inch wheels. There’s a new infotainment unit in the dash, along with some extra USB ports for the second row. Higher-spec Ti-L Patrols get 8-inch screens for the second row as well (built into the front seats).

What doesn’t change is the driveline: No diesel engine option, which is a real hindrance in the Australian market. The petrol engine is a weapon however, with 298kW and 560Nm running through a pretty slick 7-speed automatic gearbox. Listed fuel consumption is 14.4 litres/100km. Prices have tweaked slightly as well. A Patrol Ti starts at $71,990, where the higher-spec Ti-L goes for $88,990.
