Following up on the recent release of the New-Gen 2024 Mitsubishi MV Triton, Mitsubishi has also given the Pajero Sport some love in 2024. It’s not a new vehicle for 2024, however there have been some updates announced.
Exterior styling
Every model in the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport range, including GLX, GLS, EXCEED and GSR, comes rolling on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. This multi-spoke design is finished differently depending on grade, singular tone for GLX, two-tone for GLS and EXCEED and a black finish for the top-spec GSR model. I reckon that’s a neat touch personally.
Both the front and rear end have seen styling revisions, with the top-of-the-line GSR gaining the most new bling. Visually, you’ll notice updated upper and lower grilles, as well as changes to the front and rear bumper design.
There’s definitely a darkened theme going on, with black exterior mirror caps, door handles and tailgate handle. GSR spec also adds a new Graphite Grey with Black roof exterior colour option, while other grades can now be finished in the new Blade Silver metallic paint option which debuted on New-Gen Mitsubishi Triton.
What’s new?
- A new, quilted two-tone burgundy and black synthetic leather upholstery is standard on GSR models
- 2024 model year Pajero Sport range features a revised exterior look, with new 18-inch wheels, upper and lower grilles, front and rear bumper garnishes and black headlamp extensions now range-wide
- Three-spoke leather steering wheel, revised digital instrument display graphics for EXCEED and GSR
- GSR also gains black door mirrors, door handles and tailgate handle
- GLX receives dusk-sensing headlamps and rain-sensing wipers as standard equipment
- Blade Silver colour from 2024 Triton now available on Pajero Sport
- 2WD Pajero Sport model has been discontinued

10 Year warranty remains
For 2024, Mitsubishi has retained its 10/10 Diamond Advantage warranty and capped price servicing program. This is made up of a 10-year / 200,000-kilometre manufacturer’s warranty, with 10-year Capped Price Servicing. Diamond Advantage also offers up to four years of complimentary roadside assistance. All vehicles are sold with 12-months roadside assist, which can be maintained for up to four years when the vehicle is serviced with an authorised Mitsubishi dealer in accordance with the service schedule.
What Mitsubishi has to say
“Pajero Sport continues to perform a pivotal role in our product portfolio,” said MMAL CEO, Shaun Westcott.
“It is spacious, comfortable and capable, and the 2024 model year looks fantastic with its refreshed exterior, new wheels and upgraded interior.
“The updated digital instrument display for EXCEED and GSR, as well as improved standard specification for GLX, mean there are tangible improvements across the range,” he said.
The MY24 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport range is now available in dealerships.
