Yep, you have read that right. Suzuki has just announced that they will be releasing a Heritage version of their 5-door XL Jimny. However, with only 500 models for sale, Suzuki says their limited edition 5-door Heritage Jimny is going to sell fast. Like real fast. For context, the 3-door JB74 Heritage model sold out in just five-hours last year. Showing how much demand there is for the limited Heritage edition pint-sized off-roader.
What’s the story?
With just 500 of these cool and capable off-roaders available for sale, as mentioned, delivery will be based on the current queue process. The first arrival of the XL Heritage is expected in around late June to early August 2024. If the colour you are after sells out beforehand, this will be updated via Suzuki’s social media and dealership networks, and another option should be presented – if you are lucky enough to get on the list.
What colours are available?
for 2024, the XL Heritage Suzuki Jimny will be available in five different colours. These colours include:
- Jungle Green
- Bluish Black
- Granite Grey
- White
- Ivory (with a black roof)
What do you get?
Key updates for the XL Heritage Suzuki Jimny include red mud-flaps front-and-rear, a Jimny Heritage cargo tray as well as Heritage decals – which as the name suggests, are super retro. Limited edition build badges are also included, which is a neat touch, as well as an exclusive Jimny Heritage Pack, containing some goodies to celebrate your new purchase. Is that enough for the extra money? I’m inclined to say yes, hopefully we can arrange a drive of one soon to find out for sure – I’m not hopeful however, as I reckon these will sell quick.
How much does the Heritage Jimny cost?
The 2024 Suzuki Jimny XL Heritage has a retail price $1500 above the RRP of a GLX Jimny with manual transmission. This brings the RRP of the Jimny XL Heritage to $36,490, not including metallic paint, or drive-away costs. This price is accurate at the time of publishing.
