ARB developed its Commercial bar to be both strong and budget-friendly. It claims cost savings have made via “a simplified manufacturing process,” which means there’s a lot less welding of the top hoops, without the flat bar uprights. The Commercial Bullbar comes with two 60.3mm outer tubes and a 76.1mm centre tube and is engineered to be airbag compatible. It is, what ARB calls, a combination style bar, and it suits both winch and non-winch applications. The Commercial Bullbar comes with provision for OE parking sensors, and a supplementary kit is available, to make it compatible with the Ranger’s adaptive cruise control and Semi-Auto Active Park Assist. The bar can fit low-mount winches up to 10,000lb and has provisions for spotlights on top as well as two aerial brackets.

The Summit Sahara bullbar is airbag compatible and can suit both winch and non-winch applications; accommodating a range of winches up to 10,000lb. It has twin hi-lift jacking points located in the bar and has provision for mounting driving lights. It also has two aerial brackets on the edges of the bar and includes ARB’s LED, indicator and clearance light.

Drivetech 4×4 Bumpers by Rival offer a different approach to a bullbar; being a hybrid bumper and bar. And, instead of steel, they’re made from 6mm alloy, which means they retain their strength while being significantly lighter than a regular bullbar. As a full bumper replacement, it means they’re easy to fit, completely replacing the OE bumper. The bar has steel 25mm towing points as well as tow hooks and a winch mount. It has Hi-Lift jack slots, as well as adjustable IP69K LED lights as standard. The bar only comes in a matte black finish, however, you can request your stockist for it to be colour coded. It also has a unique mounting bracket that’s included for models with parking sensors.
