It is always good to see Aussie companies leading the way in terms of product development, and the experts at The Long Ranger seem be constantly updating their range of long-range fuel tanks. The latest offering suits both the PX Ford Ranger and the Mazda BT-50, and provides a useful increase in capacity up to 132L. When you consider how little dino-juice these modern turbo-diesels drink, an inclusion of a Long Ranger tank should offer a considerable touring range. The new fuel tank mounts in the OEM tank location between the axles on the left-hand side of the tailshaft. Installation should take around three hours from go-to-whoa, so budget accordingly if you are having a workshop install the tank.

Can this be modified for regular petrol and the US based Ranger Mazda B series trucks? There is a large market demographic desiring such upgrades, I for one would need 2 at some point and would be interested in carrying the products themselves for other patrons and enthusiasts too…
