South Australia continues to offer great touring conditions this month, with only one track closure listed at the time of writing. The Painted Desert Road is closed due to flooding, avoid the area as fines will apply for those found driving on closed roads. Warnings are in place between Coober Pedy and William Creek with rutted sections causing issues. Otherwise, all other touring tracks are open to 4WD vehicles with high clearance.
Will the road between maree and Willam Creek and onto the pink road house be open to vehicle’s at the end of April until the end of may.. thanks
Guys, current conditions (as opposed to April 2016) are available here:

A 13 month old track report is not much use to anyone!
We did the Kingoonya Bypass from Ceduna to Glendambo on the 12th July. Road works about 15 k in from Wirulla, and some decent sections, but after about 4 km some pretty heavy corrugations for a lot of it, so much so that it shook the fog lights out of our ARB Bullbar!
Lots of roos, big wombats emus and a camel or two. Take it slow over the grids as they are like a launching pad and heavily chopped out on the other side, lots of hills leading into blind curves, so it could be dangerous with oncomming vehicles. We have a HEMA HN7, and found at one stage, 3/4 of the way to Glendambo it took us on a goat track, into a bore watering point, not much fun at 8pm, but once we followed the track on the HEMA, which was no more than a stock track at one stage, we reunited with the main road.
Travelling from WA to Alice Springs, it does save a lot of KM, but it is a pretty rough ride
As per Alans reply Look on sa road conditions report it is updated each day and tells you when roads are open or closed also has links to other state road conditions
