Editor’s Column: Your Feedback

You may have noticed a few changes in the mag this Issue, and I feel I should let you know what’s brewing behind the scenes. We’ve been ramping up the custom 4X4 content, which I’m a little excited about for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the calibre of 4WDs being built has never been higher in this country. We’re seeing more and more folks who aren’t afraid to research what works and make the effort to do it right… and are happy to spend the time and money on their pride and joy.

If that’s not a ringing endorsement of our lifestyle, despite the ever-more-stringent regulations affecting us and police (some of whom are apparently blessed with more knowledge on what vehicle components are safe and what’s not than the engineer who signed off on the mods) crackdowns, then I don’t know what is. And we want to celebrate that fact. We kicked things off this Issue with one of the best custom vids (on one of the nicest GUs) I’ve ever seen. I don’t think 4X4 vids have ever been done like this before. If you haven’t already done so, check out the article in this Issue on Nick’s pimp Patrol. It’s worth a look, even if you don’t like Nissans. Oh, and make sure you leave us some feedback on what you thought about it, too… which leads me to my second point.

A thought occurred to us here at the mag a little while back: We’ve been going about this thing all wrong. Instead of putting a bunch of stories together for you and crossing our fingers and hoping that you like them, why on Earth haven’t we just asked you? This is digital, not a print mag. We can totally do just that!

Check out our Reader Survey (there’s a link to it at the bottom of this page). This is your chance to give us your ideas and it’ll play a big part in dictating what goes into the mag over the next few Issues, so be sure you have your say. Want more customs, travels, tips, advice… lolcats? Tell us about it, because we want to deliver exactly that. We’ll receive your input almost instantly and can literally get your ideas put into action within a day or two.

Just quietly, I’m pretty pumped to see what you guys want to see more of. Lay it on us. Dex
