Tvan has just announced an exciting limited edition camper named the Firetail, which has some very clever additions. The main point of difference here is a newly-designed roof, as well as a larger 120W solar panel for longer off-grid stays. The purpose of the new Firetail roof design is to allow for more headroom over the bed area and cabin. Tvan tells us the roof is actually 100mm taller throughout the bed and living space, which would no doubt come in handy on rainy days. The Tvan people also claim they went to considerable effort with the design of this roof, as they didn’t want to use a pop-up style design which could reduce structural integrity and potentially allow for dust ingress.
