The ARB Edition Pack transforms the new Prado with protection, lighting, suspension, and touring capability.

ARB has just made kitting out your new Prado a whole lot simpler. The Australian accessories giant has launched the ARB Edition Pack, bundling must-have 4X4 accessories into a single $17,999 package, and throwing in lifetime VIP pricing to sweeten the deal.

For new Prado owners overwhelmed by the sheer number of accessory options available, ARB’s solution is refreshingly straightforward: they’ve done the thinking for you.

What’s in the ARB Edition pack

The ARB Edition Pack isn’t just a random assortment of gear. After 50 years in the off-road accessories game, ARB has bundled what they consider the essentials for serious touring and off-road work.

Here’s what you get for $17,999 fully fitted

Protection and recovery: The centrepiece is ARB’s Summit MKII steel bullbar, which is winch-compatible and integrates with the Prado’s advanced driver assist systems. It’s paired with Summit side steps with black tread for side protection and easier access.

Lighting: A pair of ARB Intensity Solis 36 driving lights (one flood, one spot) with wiring loom and dimmer. The Solis range features 36 OSRAM LEDs and a unique dimming feature with five preset outputs.

Suspension: ARB’s MT64 suspension kit including coil-over front shocks, rear shocks, front and rear coil springs, plus all the necessary brackets and spacers. The MT64 name refers to the monotube design with a substantial 64-millimetre inner bore diameter, designed to handle the extra weight of accessories and touring gear.

Load carrying: The BASE Rack (1835 x 1155mm) with vehicle-specific mounting and wind deflector. ARB’s BASE Rack system is known for its low-profile design and modular accessory compatibility.

Wheels and tyres: A complete set of ARB Horizon 18-inch alloy wheels with black wheel nuts (and adaptor socket), wrapped in Toyo Open Country 285/75/R18 tyres. That’s a meaningful step up from the factory rubber.

The extras: ARB Edition vehicle badging and, here’s the real kicker, life-of-the-vehicle VIP pricing on all future ARB purchases. That VIP pricing translates to 5% off recommended retail price on everything ARB makes, for as long as you own the vehicle.

The value proposition

ARB states that the Edition Pack saves buyers over $2,000 compared to purchasing these items separately. Having priced out similar builds in the past, that saving seems reasonable when you factor in the fully-fitted installation.

The MT64 suspension and wheel/tyre package provide improved capability and load-carrying capacity.

But the real value here isn’t just the upfront discount. It’s the ongoing 5% VIP pricing that could save serious money over years of ownership. If you’re the type to gradually build up your touring setup, adding drawer systems, fridges, awnings, recovery gear, that 5% adds up quickly.

There’s also something to be said for the convenience factor. Rather than researching individual components, checking compatibility, and coordinating installation, you’re getting a curated package that ARB guarantees works together. For first-time 4WD owners or those simply short on time, that’s worth something.

How it works

The ARB Edition Pack is available through participating ARB stores, stockists, and Toyota dealerships across Australia. The promotion can commence or conclude at ARB’s discretion, so there’s no fixed end date at this stage.

Orders must include installation of the complete package onto an Australian-registered (or registrable) Toyota Prado 250 Series. The package is available for all variants, GX, GXL, Altitude, and VX, with slightly different bullbar part numbers to suit each model’s specific features.

No substitutions or variations are permitted. You’re buying the package as-is, though colour-coding of the bullbar to match your Prado’s paint is available for an additional charge.

The VIP pricing benefit attaches to the original buyer and isn’t transferable if you sell the vehicle. It’s ARB’s way of rewarding customer loyalty while ensuring the program doesn’t get abused.

Why this matters

The timing of this launch is no coincidence. The new Prado (250 Series) has been selling exceptionally well since its late-2024 arrival in Australia, and ARB knows new owners will be looking to accessorise.

What’s interesting is the partnership angle. By making the Edition Pack available through participating Toyota dealerships, ARB is positioning themselves as the factory-adjacent option. You can literally spec your Prado with ARB gear before you take delivery, much like you would with traditional dealer options.

This dealer-direct approach is becoming increasingly common in the aftermarket space, and it makes sense. Buyers get the convenience of a one-stop shop, dealers get additional revenue, and ARB gets customers locked into their ecosystem via the VIP pricing program.

It’s also worth noting this package addresses the most common first-wave modifications Prado owners make. Protection (bullbar), visibility (lights), load carrying (roof rack), improved ride with load (suspension), and better off-road traction (bigger tyres). These aren’t exotic accessories, they’re the foundation of any capable tourer.

So what do we think about the ARB Edition Pack?

From a value perspective, the ARB Edition Pack makes sense if you were planning to fit most of these items anyway. The $2,000-plus saving is real, and the ongoing VIP pricing could be worth substantially more over the life of ownership.

The curated approach also removes decision fatigue, which is genuinely useful when you’re new to the 4WD world and faced with countless options.

That said, the package isn’t for everyone. If you already know you want different wheels, or you’re not interested in a roof rack, or you’re planning a more aggressive suspension setup, then à la carte purchasing makes more sense. The Edition Pack’s “no substitutions” rule means you’re committed to ARB’s choices.

There’s also the question of what’s not included. Recovery points, a dual battery system, a fridge, recovery gear, and communications equipment are all touring essentials that you’ll still need to budget for separately. This pack gets you adventure-ready, but not necessarily remote-touring ready.

Still, for Prado buyers who want a solid foundation without spending weeks researching every component, the ARB Edition Pack delivers exactly what it promises: simplicity, value, and a clear path forward. And in a market overflowing with options, sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

The ARB Edition Pack is available now through participating ARB stores, stockists, and Toyota dealerships. Price is $17,999 fully fitted. Colour-coding available at additional cost. Terms and conditions apply. For more information, visit arb.com.au/arb-edition.
