We have given this product a fair bit of coverage in the past, and it is still to this day one of the most clicked-on gear pieces we have ever run. And it is not hard to see why. Who wouldn’t want this mad-mother of a winch parked on the front of their vehicle while axle deep in mud? The 2UP Adaptor supplied by Runva allows the use of two motors to power the winch – effectively doubling the line-spool speed while halving the load on the winch. It also allows for built-in redundancy; in the event of one motor failing you still have the second. Very clever stuff, and another present we’re hoping to find under our Christmas tree this year (even though we all know socks and undies are the sad reality).
