You might be sitting back thinking… why is Unsealed 4X4 writing about a kettle? Well, think about how often you ‘boil the billy’ while camping. The kettle is as important as the contents of your fridge while in the bush, so why not invest in a good quality one you can keep for life? The Big Boar kettle from Ozpig holds four litres of liquid; the base is made from 3.4mm of encapsulated aluminium, and it’s stainless steel everywhere else. There is a built-in handle, and a whistle in the spout for safety; and let’s not forget that awesome ‘chooooooo’ sound. The Big Boar kettle is dishwasher safe for easy clean-up, and it’s suitable for gas, electric, induction and ceramic cooktops too.

Is this kettle suitable for use over an open camp fire, being a camp kettle one would assume so even though it is not included in your list of suitable cooking surfaces
