So confident, they go so far as to say it will change the way ute owners transport overlanding, camping and adventure gear, by offering an easy-to-install, strong, accessible and lightweight load bed storage solution. Front Runner wanted to take their roof rack systems, which have been proven worldwide, to the next level. By using this technology, and putting it into a load bed storage solution.
The Pro Bed Rack System has been designed to provide easy gear accessibility to a ute’s rear, without intruding on your valuable tub space. The next design brief, according to Front Runner, was to create a hassle-free mounting solution for all overlanding, camping and adventure accessories.
The Pro Bed Rack features multiple accessory channels and T-slots. Which makes for quick and easy fitment of a wide range of Front Runner Dometic accessories. The system is reinforced with fixed top cross bars, for added structural integrity, while the cross-bracing at the front and rear counters torsional stresses, providing exceptional structural integrity and strength.
You can even add on a Slimline II Front Runner roof rack, for even more storage options on the Pro Bed Rack. Naturally, this installs onto the top of the Pro Bed Rack quickly and easily, offering the ability to add over 55 accessories – that’s basically limitless customisation for your ute tub.
The Pro Bed Rack System is vehicle-specific and can be fitted to existing factory mounting points with minimal modification. The system has been designed to work with all tub liners and most drop-in liners. However, it is important to mention that the Pro Bed Rack System will not work with a roll top or any load bed cover.
One of the best things about Front Runner, is the amount of accessories they offer, as well as bespoke mounting solutions to suit these accessories.
