2025 Mitsubishi Triton line-up expands with new Cab Chassis and Club Cab variants

Mitsubishi Motors Australia has bolstered its 2025 Triton range with a wave of new additions aimed at tradies, tourers, and anyone who needs a tough ute with a bit of flexibility. The 2025 line-up now includes Cab Chassis variants in Single, Club and Double Cab configurations, alongside a couple of new Club Cab Pickups and additional sub one-tonne payload options.
The new Cab Chassis models are now available in Single Cab, Club Cab (two-door with occasional rear seats), and Double Cab layouts. Kicking off from $34,490 for the 2WD GLX Single Cab with a manual gearbox, the range extends all the way up to $61,540 for the GSR Double Cab 4WD with an automatic transmission.
Crucially, these are “bare” Cab Chassis offerings, meaning no tray is fitted from the factory. That’s intentional, giving owners the chance to set up their 2025 Mitsubishi Triton as they see fit. Mitsubishi’s genuine accessories catalogue includes alloy and steel trays, both with galvanised finishes and integrated rear-view cameras for added safety.
After focusing on the Dual Cab in recent Mitsubishi Triton generations, the Club Cab is back in 2025 and not just as a Cab Chassis. Mitsubishi has introduced two new Club Cab models: the GLX Club Cab – Cab Chassis ($47,240) and the GLX+ Club Cab – Pickup ($50,340), both with 4WD and a six-speed auto.
These two-door models offer more cabin storage than a Single Cab, and the Pickup version retains a full tub at the back. It’s a smart option for buyers who don’t need a full-sized back seat but want room behind the front row for gear or the occasional passenger.
Responding to fleet demand, Mitsubishi is rolling out sub one-tonne payload options across the 2025 Triton GLX, GLX+, and GLX-R Double Cab Pickup variants, following the success of similar offerings on the GLS and GSR models. The idea? Broader appeal for buyers who don’t need to lug a full tonne but still want the spec and features of higher-grade models.
These sub-tonne payload variants will hit showrooms in Q3 2025, alongside the rest of the new body styles.
All models run Mitsubishi’s 2.4-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine and a six-speed manual or auto transmission, depending on the variant. Fuel usage sits around the mid-7s for most configurations.
